Nightlight Astrology – Course Terms & Conditions – Please Read!

Refund Policy:
Due to the digital nature of this content, refunds are limited. Please consider your needs before enrolling in the course.
If you withdraw from a full-year course before the first class, you will receive a full refund for any tuition paid.
After the first class, you have 21 calendar days to withdraw from the program and receive a full refund minus 1/12th of the program cost (the first month of tuition).
After 21 days, you are legally bound to pay for the entire course without a refund. This includes payment plans, which will continue auto-debiting until the course is paid in full.

If you fall behind on the live classes, please note that we do not move students to a future cohort. Once your course fees are paid, you have lifetime access to the materials. If you fall behind on your studies, you can go back over the classes to review the materials and catch up that way. If you would like to join a new cohort, you can do so once your full class fees are paid. We can then offer you the alumni rate to join a new class.
Course Withdrawal:

If you wish to withdraw from the course, please submit a written request to info@nightlightastrology.com within the above detailed withdrawal period.

Students can sign up for the course up to 21 days after its start date.
If you enrol after the start of the course, you will have 14 calendar days after purchase to withdraw from the course and receive a full refund minus 1/12th of the program cost, equivalent to the first month of tuition. After that time, you are legally bound to pay for the entire course without a refund.
This policy includes payment plans, which will continue auto-debiting until the course is paid in full.

Thinkific Messaging:

On occasion, we will email you via the Thinkific Messaging service with class details or updates to class times and information. We also use this platform to inform you of upcoming class deals and promotions.

Due to the nature of this system, we cannot remove you from marketing emails on this platform. Please be aware that you will receive messages about future classes in this format. Removing you from this list removes you from Thinkific and, therefore, access to your class.

Beginners Course:

As this is a one-off purchase and all course material is instantly available, no refunds are offered on this course. Your material will be available via your student portal as lifetime access.

This course and all video, audio, and printed material are the intellectual property of Nightlight Astrology and are made available for you to use as study material. This course should not be shared freely in any way outside of Nightlight Astrology.
If it is found that the material has been shared on social media or any other platform or passed on to others freely, your access to the class and any other Nightlight classes in which you are enrolled will be removed instantly without refund.

Bundle Products:
Bundles purchased through promotional sales are non-refundable due to their highly discounted price.

Course Information and Logistics:
1. Classes are held via live Zoom webinars. Each class runs between 90 minutes and 3 hours, depending on the course (see the relevant course page on the Nightlight Astrology website for the specific length of classes in your program of choice). The first-year Hellenistic astrology course meets a total of 30 times, the second-year Hellenistic astrology course meets a total of 20 times, the Year 3 course meets 20 times, the Horary astrology course meets a total of 20 times, the full Master Class Series meets 12 times, and the Nightlight Guild meets 20 times and additionally includes all the monthly webinars, which is another 12 classes. All courses are finished within one year of the start date.

2. Live attendance is not required to complete the course successfully, and the entire course can be taken remotely. All classes will be recorded and made freely available to you through an online course platform with a password that will be provided to you in your orientation materials, which will be sent out a few weeks before the course start date. Logins are personal for each enrolled student. Any student discovered to be sharing logins will be immediately expelled from the program.

3. Classes can be accessed via phone, tablet, or computer. During the live classes, we will provide optional closed captioning and written transcripts for people who need or request them. Any additional class materials will also be made available to you through the online course platform. Your online course access never expires, even past the end of the program, but we reserve the right to make changes to how the course materials are accessed.

4. You are never allowed to share or distribute the content of my online courses to anyone else, or to post anywhere online. Posting video clips or screenshots of the classes to social media is not allowed. The content of each course is exclusively for students enrolled in that program. If it is found that the material has been shared on social media, any other platform, or passed on to others freely, your access to the class and any other Nightlight classes in which you are enrolled will be removed instantly without refund.

5. Any personal information shared in the course is confidential and not to be shared or discussed outside of the live classes or student discussion forum. This includes but is not limited to birth charts, birth information, or personal stories shared by myself, Nightlight staff, Nightlight students, or clients who come into the classroom for demonstration readings.

6. Each session meets on the same day of the week for the duration of the course, at the same start time each week. The Year 3 Study/Extra Curricular sessions are held on a Sunday, not Friday, as the classes are. Please ensure that you check the start date and meeting times of the course you are enrolling in on my website’s course page before signing this agreement. You will have access to a dynamic calendar in your course material where you can check the times of each class. This calendar will align to the time zone set on your device.

7. Nightlight Astrology reserves the right to adjust the schedule or readjust our syllabus throughout the year in order to meet the needs of our unique group or to fit the needs of my sometimes-unpredictable lecture and travel schedule. The official, up-to-date class calendar will always be posted on the course platform for enrolled students. It is always your responsibility to verify the times and dates that we have class.

8. The course syllabus for each course Adam teaches is available upon request to look over in advance. Please be sure to read over the syllabus and make sure you ask questions about the curriculum before assuming what will and will not be covered.

9. Students may ask questions about class topics during the live classes, on the class discussion forum, or submit them via email. If you have a question, we will make sure it gets answered. Our classroom discussion forum is staffed with experienced tutors who are there to help answer questions you have about classroom material. I am available to answer questions by email throughout the year. It is also quite common for students to independently form study groups outside of class through our discussion forum.

10. Communication regarding the class materials, including questions and queries, must all be dealt with via the student forum as a question in the group, or if you would prefer to ask a question outside the group in private, please email support@nightlightastrology.com We do not and will not answer questions sent to any staff via the MeWe Direct Messaging service.

11. Be Aware: Astrology discussion during class and client readings can cover profound and often traumatic lived experiences; this is the nature of astrological consultation.

It is part of our work as practising consulting astrologers to hold a sacred, safe container for clients' stories. Please keep in mind that this may sometimes touch on themes that may trigger some of your own personal experiences, and we ask you to be mindful of this possibility before engaging in this course. We cover a broad range of topics and cannot anticipate where questions, themes or dialogue go in a session. Come prepared each week before class. Get yourself centred and grounded so that if a topic is delicate for you, you are in a safe space to process the discussion and apply it meaningfully to the astrological language. While astrological tools can be transformative, they are not a substitute for therapy or professional advice.

By attending, you acknowledge that your experience may be emotionally challenging at times, and you take full responsibility for your own process.


Certification:
Students are given one year from the end of their course to complete the certification exam as part of their course fee.
Students who do not complete the certification exam within the allotted year can request an extension, which will incur an additional fee to grade their paper.
We do not offer certification or exams for the Beginners Class, Master Class Series or The Guild membership courses.

Certification from Nightlight Astrology is not intended to endorse recipients to practice as a therapist, counsellor, or life coach or to indicate fitness to give “spiritual” advice to others.
Certification only indicates that you have demonstrated your knowledge of the subject matter of my course at a high level while staying committed to a year-long intensive study of traditional astrology, which is no small feat!


Kickstarter Credits:
Nightlight Astrology runs one annual fundraising campaign on Kickstarter the last 40 days of each year. Donations to the Nightlight Astrology Kickstarter campaign are accompanied by specific rewards at different donation tiers.
Because the Kickstarter campaign is a fundraiser and not a store-front, donations to the campaign are non-refundable even if you choose not to redeem the donation reward. Kickstarter Enrollment Credits never expire and may be redeemed for ANY Nightlight Astrology course which begins in 2026 or later, including any new courses which may be announced in the future, or if you are re-taking a previously completed course.
You may adjust your course selection by sending an email to info@nightlightastrology.com at any time before the course begins, and up to 21 calendar days AFTER the first class of the course, after which time your course selection is locked in, and your enrollment cannot be swapped for a different course.
If you pledged for multiple courses and want to use your reward coupons in a 2026 or later class, you can enrol by going to the checkout on the relevant course page and entering your unique coupon code. DO NOT ENTER ANY CREDIT CARD DETAILS; THE COUPON COVERS 100% OF THE VALUE OF THE CLASS. This coupon has no expiry date and can be used in future years.

Gifting a course:
If you are gifting a course with a Kickstarter credit, please email us at info@nightlightastrology.com with the gift recipient's full name and email address. You can then send them your unique coupon code to enroll in their chosen class.
